Ronald Charles Krivec, 78, of Akron, Ohio passed into eternal peacefulness on January 21, 2018. He was born on September 5, 1939 to the late Charles and Agnes Krivec. Ron is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kay; sister, Carol (Robert) Delly; nephew, Matthew (Sarah) Delly; and great nephews, Andrew and Nathan Delly. Ron grew up in Euclid, Ohio and graduated from Euclid High School and earned his Bachelor's degree at Kent State University. He continued his education in law at John Marshall University. He then joined Cleveland Trust and became manager of the Rose Building in downtown Cleveland. In 1984 he joined Goodyear in Atlanta for ten years and was then promoted to Corporate Real Estate Manager at the Goodyear headquarters in Akron, Ohio and retired in 2002. Ron enjoyed the outdoors and loved working in the yard. He also loved fishing, boating and traveling with his wife, especially cruising in the Southern Caribbean, Canada and Alaska. He took pride in cooking and prepared many wonderful meals for all who visited.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no public visitation or services. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
